Sales Development Representative
We are seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for outbound/inbound communications via email, forum posting and direct messaging primarily, but also occasionally phone.
About this role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in reporting on lead qualification and conversation, as well as other activities plus stay informed on all products and services in the portfolio you represent to potential buyers.There will also be a tight collaboration with online and social media communities to generate new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and convert sales opportunities from prospecting and marketing-generated leads.
- Interact with prospects via direct messaging, email, posting and occasionally phone, with great attention to detail.
- Develop and execute a prospecting plan based on the aforementioned communications media
- Track all relevant qualifications and lead management activity using CRM systems and spreadsheets in some situations.
- Learn about the products you represent to communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections.
- Research accounts and key profiles, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities.
- Disseminate larger opportunities within the business, or to clients, educating as necessary.
- Tracking and understanding automated campaign performance and visitor/buyer conversions to recommend improvements to sign-up and purchase flows.
- Regular team and management reviews to prioritise targeting of personas/markets and encourage collaboration.
- Confident in discussing requirements and recommending solutions to stakeholders.
- Getting involved with industry community platforms and building a social media following.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in B2B outbound sales and lead generation.
- Must be an enthusiastic self-starter, willing to learn new skills with the help of your team, management and other provided resources.
- Excellent written and spoken English language (B2-Upper Intermediate or above).
- Experience working with international, remote teams and/or partners in UK/EU/US.
- Experience using CRM, Productivity and Collaboration platforms.
- Close collaboration with an international team.

The role is primarily home-based initially, with a close, friendly online team and options to work from home when offices reopen in the future. Colleagues will be based in worldwide locations, including the UK, EU and Ukraine, with primary communication written and spoken in English. There may be opportunities to travel to events or international office locations from time to time.
